These Mountaineers lads can be so frustrating!!
Soft one for N Welch as well. Gentle lobbed up loosener from Wessley first ball. Somehow managed to contrive to chip it back to him. Then stood there as if it was a bump ball and a poor decision. Watched it back a few times, and looked out to me.

Mountaineers have batted extremely poorly here. Maruma hit a Russell long hop to the deep square boundary fielder and Wellington slogged one up in the air.

The Eagles attack looked a little toothless on paper, and I expected the Mountaineers to cash in...

Not as poorly as Eagles
That's a crazy scorecard.
They avoided the follow-on by 1 run!!
Clearly a pitch that's really holding up. Not easy, but everyone should have done a lot better for sure.

Ya I also re-ran that NW dismissal, definitely out. Maybe disbelief he played such a lame shot

Tbh though, I'd credit the Mountaineers bowlers quite a bit yesterday. A lot more "proper" dismissals. Mountaineers just threw it away against spin for no reason.

Working harder today, by the looks of it. Lots in the track for all bowlers.

How good is Definate Mawadzi? To be able to go past 50 twice in a match where national team prospects failed to do the same (guys that could have scored and possibly have their names in the selection hats) must mean he has something about him

Has not looked massively secure defensively, but has struck the ball well.

I don't know much about him. Came up through the Mutare club scene, correct? How old?

I've seen K-Long and Mutumbami have a bowl today...

Not quite test cricket for the batters.

Both Bawa and Madhevere out within minutes of each other. They could have made a big statement by batting long here.
Munyonga and Kamwemba with the same opportunity.
It's a long shot having to bat for 2 days on this wicket, but that's what gets you noticed.
