Qualifier Warm Ups
Re: Qualifier Warm Ups
We'd have been better off letting them come in cold against us. The way they picked up their game in that last game was thoroughly alarming

Re: Qualifier Warm Ups
Watching the Tanzania/Kenya match one would be forgiven for thinking they were watching an Indian division match.
Namibia comfortably rolling past Botswana. Botswana have this one fat guy any chance he could the chairman's son or something?

Re: Qualifier Warm Ups
Raza bowled his full quota in the warm-up match. I don't think it's necessary for him to bowl against this standard of opposition.
Re: Qualifier Warm Ups
There’s every need when the SA20 and IPL sides will be out shopping
fully expect him to open both the batting and bowling at some stage in this tournament

Re: Qualifier Warm Ups
Every generation needs a Dwayne Leverock
I think Botswana have a few Zimbabwe ties in their side too.

I hope so but sadly the mental demons are probably stronger than ever and these associates are good enough to cause problems.ilovearsenal04 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 23, 2025 6:12 amWell Namibia smashed Uganda, we had a good game against Kenya and everyone else looks like they struggled! The only enemy we have right now is pressure! i hope the boys can keep cool and just enjoy the tournament for what it is and god forbid they bring back that brass band!!
Re: Qualifier Warm Ups
Looking from last time and close to half the players in the side would not have played the last qualifiers. I feel Bennet will be a real point of difference and a firing Maru. Bowling wise we should account for most of the teams, providing we don't become too predictable.Mr Twig wrote: ↑Thu Sep 25, 2025 2:59 amI hope so but sadly the mental demons are probably stronger than ever and these associates are good enough to cause problems.ilovearsenal04 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 23, 2025 6:12 amWell Namibia smashed Uganda, we had a good game against Kenya and everyone else looks like they struggled! That last qualifier, the Uganda game is so sketchy looking back
Opening the bowling with Wellington and williams
Wellington was like going at 3.5 an over, very economical and only bowled two overs?! Chats in like 5th or 6th change, bowled out his quota after he’d already been whacked
then Wellington was in at six with the bat ahead of Wez and Clive and we failed to chase 134 or whatever it was.
None of that made sense at the time and still doesn’t. Maybe Dirk was paying Houghton and Raz to make those bizarre decisions

Re: Qualifier Warm Ups
Old raz would do anything for a few zigs with no qualms whatsoever
