the problem with selecting bobby mpofu again isthere is alot of competition for the pacemansspot atm.
Right now in the wings we have the younger, fitter, faster Tendai Chatara who has been in great form domestically.... and Keegan meth, our best performed weligible domestic bowler who also offers some batting for us.
Both those players nailed the domestic scene...mpofu did not, he was an also ran.

he makes a very difficult case to retain his spot.

Sure, but he is unlikely to lose the game for us again by himself. I'd give him another chance. All our three best batsmen were bad too, Taylor, Hami, Vusi.

Fire the selectors and let Minister Coltart select the team, I am sure he would select a better fifteen than the current lot selected. Oh sorry he can't because he never played national cricket so he should not be a selector. Honestly that fact that Shingi did not even make the final 24 selected is a joke. Rainsford is in great form and he doesn't get selected and Price is normally always more economical than Utseya

Seriously i dont know what you guys are busy trying to analyse about the current selected squad, there is only on word to describe the latest perfomance by the following players.UTTER RUBBISH Hamilton masakadza played terrible i personally dont know how he could be one of our top batsman, Taylor i would say seemed solid and composed but ended up throwing his wicket like it dont matter,Prosper utseya should be dropped instantly he has had numerous chances bring in ANOTHER BATSMAN.Mpofu seemed very confused could not even bowl a line constantly bowling to their strengths. how could he. I say drop him for Meth and then jarvis can open the bolwing at least part of his expensive over was due to poor feilding. To think Mpofu is gona bowl in test match makes me wanna poke out my own eyes to save myself the horror...

Alistair Campbell hosts the presentation ceremony. I haven't seen him in the flesh for a while. He looks like he spent the last year eating nothing but whole rotisserie chickens.

I don't think Meth will do that much better than Mpofu. In the 5 overs he bowled in the warm up he went for a few, and you can imagine, in similar conditions with his lack of pace, he'll certainly go for more.

As for Chatara, yeah, maybe give him a go, but, I don't really think he'll change much. We're doomed either way and embarrassing performances coming up

Zim's only chance is in the Test series IMO. Long spells from Price and Cremer.
