The most negative reporter I ever read. Was cricinfo correspondent from about 2004 up to I think 2009. Not a single good thing to say about Zimbabwe cricket during that timebetterdays wrote:Can't say I know his writing...is he as predictable as the outcome of that over wasConant wrote:brmtaylor.com admin wrote:Steven Price has made a return: http://www.espncricinfo.com/zimbabwe-v- ... 68475.htmlExpect the worst from Stephen Price. So impressed with the bowling here. Panyangara has been a revelation while Shingrai Mazakdza and Chatara have both bowled with pace and accuracy. Utsea bowled superbly too, hats off to him. The fileding aswell! Really happy with what I've seen so far

A pretty good session, nipping out a couple of wickets. It's important to break this partnership soon after tea though, both are dangerous players and could potentially go on to make big scores.
But at effectively 3/9, Zimbabwe are sitting in a pretty good position. If we could get another 2 wickets tonight, that would probably make it Zimbabwe's day.

I only ever saw liam brickel and john ward contributions to cricinfo but comment more than I read there anyway.
having got ali these two are key ... we're still very much in the ascendancy though (with some luck going our way)

We need to bring a bowling change...nothing's happening here. Chigs? Waller, anyone? Williams would have been useful at this point.
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

We need to make a breakthrough here. I would try something different... Chigumbura is the obvious choice, but Waller or even Raza could cause the batters to lose concentration and play a rash shot?
At least the run rate is low.

Well I missed all the fireworks. Great start by us but now a firm, resolute response from Pakistan. If we don't get a wicket this hour then the game is probably gone. We are still doing very well to have them fighting this hard and there is still a fair chance for us.

at least one good partnership was always going to come with Ali, Younis, Misbah and Asad all more-than-capable test bats. We must keep plugging away - we're still very much in this - as we are doing!

We desperately need a bit of luck now, which we deserve in this test I'm sure. probably the first time in the whole match where Pakistan has slight upper hand. This notorious overachiever Younis Khan can go on and on and on. And we know what Misbah can do. Please somebody, do something special...

Having said that, we have been brilliant with the tight lines, excellent field placements, putting pressure relentlessly.
