The next round will be interesting. Will the losing margin be more or less? Who will learn faster, the county guys or our lads? Unfortunately my money is on their bowlers getting even more on top of our batters and their batters being more comfortable going harder at our bowlers.
You called it :o :o

Durham on course for 300 plus here

Ya i knew this would happen. We are lucky to get Bedingham, hes one of the best batsmen on the planet. Those crazy fast starts are terrifying, but 90% of the time the bowling side reins it in. The new ball and the fielding restriction is the difference. But they're going to get 230 I reckon.

There can easily be a situation where Chivanga, Mavuta and Jongwe are playing for the senior team at the same time. Chatara was in the team yesterday too. I don't think I would be wrong to say that is probably our second string attack. In fact this southerns squad could easily pass off as a Zim 'A' squad. Especially yesterday's team. They need to do better.

Yesterday the bowlers didn't do too bad, it was the batting that let them down. From what I can see here there is a big difference in quality between Durham and Glamorgan. Will be interesting to see how the Northerns do today.

1 positive is that at least Cephas has nothing to lose today

I'm still not understanding why our senior batters are not playing. Once again we need to play a lot more T20. It's entirely it's own game and we don't know how to play it.

If you miss your line and length and you're bowling 130 and you don't have good change-ups and yorkers you're going to travel. The seamers have to have that stock ball - heavy ball, back of a length at the box or just on off. Without that you're going to get carted.

They'll keep Cephas quiet, watch. These guys are accurate and they figure you out.

I wonder if they did their homework on these Durham batters? Everyone has weaker and stronger areas.

Have again seen glimpses from Chivanga that he can cut it. Removing lees and bedingham in quick succession bowled and LBW show he was bowling with some gas.
Just went to pieces in his last over. He should have bowled out earlier on when he was amongst the wickets

All the overseas guys rate Chivanga. He's fast and nasty.
Problem is he sprays it and cant resist bouncing the guys and most are off target, but when he gets it right he will trouble anyone.

I remember when he bounced out Dhawan in the indian series. He clearly has something most of our bowlers dont. Agression.

Jongwe has really gone to pot both bowling and batting. Brad evans is better than him now in both departments. Wonder where he is??
