looks like its hard work out there if the boys can survive this tricky patch and cash in all credit to them ....

As Tinker mentioned every run is gold dust .....

Can Elton free things up a bit? We need to slog another 70 runs and we'll be OK. If we're being cautious and scoring nothing, and geting wickets, we're just wasting time...

If there was ever a time for Mutumbami to stand up, it's right now.

Thankfully Taylor is still out there, and we're still a chance while Taylor is still out there. But boy do we need just a 40 or 50 run partnership just to add some fat to the target we are defending.

If Mutumbami can scrounge a 20 or 25 while Taylor keeps on keeping on from the other end we can still put up a decent total.

When Prosper came out to open last night I felt this would come back to hurt us because he's more valuable holding up an end with a set batsman at the other end. The other bowler who could do that to an extent is Panyangara, who is also out. Effectively with only Vitori and Chatara to come, and Richmond not riding high on confidence, BT has to open up now.

Nice shot from Mutumbami. The sound of the ball off the bat then was great. A few more like that and we might be okay...

Lunch soon, and the new ball is available in 6 overs. It's pretty damn important that these two see off those two events.

Lead by 231 now. I still reckon 250 is the minimum we can feel comfortable about defending, if we could get it to the 270/280 mark then it gets into the realm of difficult for Pakistan.
