The first team to be finalised is done so with the picks of
90) Jofra Archer
91) Heinrich Klaasen
I know this will not be the most popular squad, but stats wise, I think I've done well. Not a single batsman averages under 40. Not a single bowler averages over 30. And my all rounder has a batting average of 39 and bowling of 33. Figures I say most specialists would be happy with.
There were 2 other players I found very hard to miss out on. I won't name them just yet as the draft is still continuing.
1. Usman Kahwaja
2. Hashim Amla
3. Jonathan Trott
4. AB De Villiers (c)
5. Marnus Labuschagne
6. Heinrich Klaasen (wk)
7. Tom Curran

9. James Anderson

And this completes my team too! Is this the player you were looking at jaybro?
This may not be the most popular squad, but it's pretty strong and balanced I think. Six proper batsmen all averaging over 40 post-2010 (three with strike rates over 100), a genuine allrounder and reliable finisher in James Faulkner, four economical strike bowlers all averaging under 30 (with two averaging under 20!). The bowlers are no mugs with the bat. Both Brett Lee and Rashid Khan average over 20 with the bat post-2010. Graeme Swann was a handy lower-order batsman too.
1. Andrew Strauss (captain)

3. Virat Kohli
4. Rassie van der Dussen
5. Nicholas Pooran
6. Jos Buttler (wk)

I did think about ‘the finisher’ for a moment but no he wasn’t one of the guys I had in mind. I felt No.7 might be one spot too high for Faulkner especially with my tail.
This was also the reason I passed up on Imad Wasim; I love his bowling and I always want a SLA bowler in my XI, but Iman’s bowling numbers weren’t that great either.
I looked at my long lost twin brother Marcus Stoinis (we were born on the same day but I already have 4 seam bowlers so I thought I’d be better off with another spin option.
So I wanted a finisher who could also bowl some soon if required; who else but Zimbabwe’s own Sikander Raza

I was considering Sikander Raza for the final spot but I needed someone who was more of a bowling allrounder for better squad balance. You already had Watto and Duminy, so I guess this pick made more sense for you.
Yes you definitely needed a bowler who could bowl out 10 overs on a consistent basis. Looking at both yours and Zimbo_05’s sides I’d say you’re lacking extra bowling options; I guess looking at the competition it probably won’t matter and I’ve probably over compensated for nothing having 7 bowling options.
1. Brendan Taylor
2. Aaron Finch
3. Jacques Kallis
4. Steve Smith
5. Michael Clarke
6. Wesley Madhevere
7. MS Dhoni (c/wk)
8. Ravi Jadeja
9. Mitchell Johnson
10. Pat Cummins
11. Josh Hazlewood
I really wanted a strong fast bowling attack, and I think this makes Kallis my MVP because having him allowed me to extend the middle order by batting Jadeja at 8.

I like your side even more now after your last two picks; only three players there whom I feel indifferent about (Sharma, Yadav, Amir), but not one I positively dislike.
Sangawardene reunited! I had my eye on Mahela from the outset but just couldn't find a place for him. I still envy you the chance to draft Sangakkara in round one; that would have totally altered the make-up and balance of my side. In that case I would certainly have picked Mahela instead of a specialist keeper (as much as I love Tibba). ... 3./4. Sangawardene, 5. Misbah, 6. Shiv ...
