CrimsonAvenger wrote:Spot on! andy24, it is Freedom Takarusenga, one of the men whose performances will be eagerly followed in this year's domestic competitions. This is where I took his photo from: http://www.lookuppage.com/users/freedomtakarusenga/

So, apparently, he was also trying his hands as an IT professional, by floating a company of his own, FreeTarksCreations. There was an interview as well in brmtaylor.com last year. For the benifit of those who have not seen it, here is the link: http://www.brmtaylor.com/news-32.html

brmtaylor.com admin, you could have got a point for yourself easily here ;) but I liked your sportsmanship :). He had not talked about his company in the interview, any news as to whether he is still pursuing both the careers?
I don't know whether he is still doing IT, but cricket is his number one priority at the moment.

Nopes, I have said he was an official. Here is a clue which gives more clarity: He was an umpire.

No. All right, let me give out the answer myself. It is Mumtaz Ahmed Esat, who officiated in 11 ODIs between 1995 and 2002. He is currently living in Australia. Here is a short biography from Brisbane Indian Times: http://www.indiantimes.com.au/index.php ... d=61&mid=2

I recognised that face immediately, it is Colin Bland - one of the Rhodesians who played Test cricket for South Africa. Probably one of the best :)
