Excluding Gary Ballance, we haven't had a Test centurion other than the usual big 3 and Taylor/Masakadza since Cremer in 2016. Thank you Brian Bennett. There is some hope for the future

Geez that is a depressing stat. Ideally the likes of Madhevere, Shumba and Burl would be forming the backbone of the batting lineup now but it just hasn't happened (... yet, I think they can still turn it around). Although maybe Bennett and Myers will pick up the slack.

Hopefully this gives BB the confidence to go on and do this against the big teams as well.

When are we giving the well deserved ZCF Knighthood to Sean Colin Williams?

I can see a knighthood coming SW's way.

On a different note, occasionally knighthoods get given when they don't make a lot of sense (like in Australia about 10 years back, we gave a knighthood to Prince Phillip). Which Zimbabwe cricketer could conceivably get a knighthood that isn't entirely undeserved but would raise a lot of eyebrows?

Sir Terry Duffin for captaining the ODI side when nobody else would?

Sir Waddington Mwayenga for sticking around long enough to play a test match?
