I think it is Makoni's fault.

Great stuff from Williams.4000 FC runs too. Epic effort from the lad. He has to continue his form into the windies tour. Seems the middle order is set then Ervine,Taylor,Williams,Raza,

The Eagles are probably the second worst team in the cup just looking at their team. The tuskers also have a strong core of Raza Ervine and Williams. They might just be slightly better than the mountaineers if you add Vitori. Although I must say the mountaineers have a strong bowling unit.

It's good to see Ervine Williams and Taylor scoring big. We just need Raza and Hami to get some form and we will be in a decent space.

Seriously, I think our batting is looking good!

I'm now hell bent on Burl to open the batting. I think Musakanda and him are on equal footing but Burl seems a more conservative player. Tarisai appears to have more shots and looks to be more expansive.

Maybe a side of;

1. Hamilton Mazakadza
2. Ryan Burl
3. Crag Ervine
4. Brendan Taylor
5. Sean Williams
6. Sikander Raza
7. PJ Moor (By the skin of his teeth)
8. Graeme Cremer
9. Donald Tiripano
10. Kyle Jarvis
11.Tendai Chatara

12th man: Tarisa Musakanda/Regis Chakabva

Raza playing a great innings now according to the situation as the Tuskers try to set up a declaration.

This is why for me Raza bats @5 or 6 because he’s such a great counter attacking player and he can play according to the situation.

Raza has brought a dynamic approach to the game which Zimbabwe had been missing over the years..

Just love his approach and attitude..

I quite like the look of this. Mpofu's form seems to be pretty good, so I think he may get the nod ahead of Tiripano.

I would be surprised if Burl opens the batting, although I quite like the idea.

As you suggest, Moor would be fortunate. Especially because he didn't keep in the SL test, and isn't keeping at the moment for the Rhinos. Chakabva or Mutumbami may well come into the reckoning therefore.
