In all honesty Craig Ervine has only played 22 First Class matches and 25 List A matches and most of these were in the last season. So if any thing this has given him time to mature and develop as the results say it all. A lot of Zim players a thown in the deep end too early and in most cases we dont always like the results. Foster Mutwizwa was also in the wings for a long time so I really dont think the race card has anything to do like Craig's "late" debut.

Great knock from the lad.

I must say Shingirai Masakadza supporting Craig Ervine well here in the tail. Who knows we just just be unearthing another all rounder. Fingers crossed.

I'm more comfortable with the lead now. A few more and we might think of not batting again 8-)

Ervine rocks on. 151* (266 balls, 15 fours, 1 six). Brought the 150 up with a big six over long-on. ZimXI 318/9, lead by 189.

ZimXI all out for 351 (Ervine 178), a lead of 222. Good chance we won't need to bat twice here.

178, Bravo. It might have been against Canada but others faltered. He stood up to be counted when it mattered.
