[Match Thread] Bangladesh v Zimbabwe: 2nd ODI
Re: [Match Thread] Bangladesh v Zimbabwe: 2nd ODI
I really want to Chibhabha to succeed, but more often than not he disappoints. I am really not sure what to make of him.

Dabengwa, yes Dabengwa has been promoted up the order to bat at number 4! Bangladesh continue with their sloppy fielding with dropped catches and missed run outs. Zimbabwe are fortunate to be facing such a poor fielding outfit.

i am getting the feel that Keith will score 46 today (his highest ever score) and that would be fine to secure his place for the 3rd ODI.

I get the feeling that a wicket might actually be in Zim's favor at the moment, these two are going so slowly you might think they were batting out a draw on the last day of a test.
I also think, and i hope he proves me wrong, that elton does not deserve his place in the side and the way he is playing at the moment he id dead weight that the rest of the team has to carry. If he wasn't captain he wouldn't be in the side. Please let him prove me wrong today, a nice quick 50 and a couple wickets. But if he doesn't well i think he could use some time in provincial cricket to get his confidence back.

This partnership is rather painful to watch. Dropping anchor for stability is one thing but this is ridiculous. I hope they realise that this is ODI cricket. Dabengwa is scratching around at the crease like a filthy chicken as per usual, I think he has played two good shots. As I am writing this Dabengwa has just got out for 30 from (69). Taibu seems to fiddling around trying to reverse sweep all the time. Just play some shots. Craig Ervine is in now.

Taibu is gone for 21 off (48). His penchant for reverse sweeping has finally got him out lbw.

Weird i was just about to say that he has an unhealthy obsession with the reverse sweep too..... come on elton plenty of time to get in and make a big score.

Chigumbura out for 7. He really is dead weight at the moment. He is basically an under performing batsman now that he doesn't bowl.

Ervine is playing well, so much for not being able to play spin, he seems like just about the only one who can go ata run a ball against them at the moment. With him making a decent score in the last game and being in form, why would you play Dabengwa above him?
Selection is becoming more and more interesting to put it mildly, confusing is probably a better way to put it.
