Why not?
Well if he came back to Zimbabwe, i mean he'd have a lot of making up to do with the cricketing public.
He had a chance to play in the World Cup against Australia and Pakistan! Who knows where that could have lead had he actually gone through with it. He could have joined Peicey with the Mumbi Indians if he'd done well.
In my opinion we should look to the future. Guys like Ervine, Blignaut and others have done nothing but mess the system about so i personally think we need to bid farewell

WHAT :o Peeps are still discussing Sean Ervine. Lets forget this dude, he left us his young brother for us to revel at and lots more new talent. Until he DOES comeback lets put him to rest.

My point is there are so many Zim peeps out there who would be legible. I guess, for discussions sake, but in reality I think its a chasing of the wind. SE for me is history...

I agree with you there and you don't know how excited I was when he came back BECAUSE if that, and I was quite happy to have him walk into the team. BUT after what he did cos he not only raised my hopes but especially the team members, the captain was thinking okay the middle order is sorted and I have another bowling option. Then he just jumps ship. For me he showed he is someone who cannot be counted on, but again there might be another issue behind the scenes cos I really DIDNT buy the politically correct excuses that he put forth.

Exactly- sour grapes aside he would be in our top 3 in the batting and our top 4 in bowling -

That number 7 Elton position is MADE for him.

with him we could have a rainsford chitara pace combo. A cremer price spin duo and a wicket taking midi to support the above!!!

I salivate at the return of a motivated and loyal Sean ...
No matter how pissed I have been at him ....

Ervine is always welcome back - he is the perfect fit as our allrounder - as opposed to Chigumbura who cant currently bat or bowl. Beggars can't be choosers.

Yea the guys a classy player, but the fact of the matter is, he won't return to the national setup. He's going to stay in the county circuit and make a life with his new wife in the U.K. If he was to come back, that'd be great! But look at the facts, the bloke won't be doing any such thing

Just watched him bat again today, i feel a bit sorry for this guy. His heart is with Zim and he just can't get into the mood with Hampshire.
