Having a number 8 and 9 coming in with batting averages in the single digits isn't going to cut it in modern cricket. You cant chase a score against a good team with such a tail, we need all-rounders or at least sloggers-who-can-bowl in these positions

Burl was playing instead of Raza though, wasn't he?

I don't think we need both in the same team. And Raza is probably a better in ODIs.

The jury is out on Burly. :D imo he has really had 1 good knock in this format. But can we say another poor showing with the bat today he would need to be dropped. Flat track, foundation laid, what more doe he need? He is a number 4/5 for me and should stop bowling.
