No idea...Hami does seem prone to occasional bouts of jitters: we need him to be firing on all cylinders. I'm worried that captaincy might be too much of a distraction. in Taylor's absence, who are your papabile's?

For me, there are no obvious contenders. Tino? Any of you have any thoughts on Chakabva as a stand-in: probably a bit young, but it wouldn't be total disaster if his performance suffered a bit. ????
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Because Taylor had probably only just showed up about 2 hours before the game? He would been 2nd in line anyway, right?
Off course Taylor needs to rest, but Hamilton if he was 2nd in line he would have been Captain ahead of Taylor cos he was Eltons Vice. So he has a permanent Vice captaincy role? Vusi and Tino, but I tell you ZC. You would think the Vice captain is being groomed for captaincy... but I have talked about the captaincy in previous posts, was just wondering how Ham leap frogged everyone else.

Well, not sure how to weigh this because I have never heard of most of the WI players, but nice to start off with a victory.

A big total and some good practise all round.

I will not get too carried away with this win, after a close look at the vice chancellor xi it has come to my attention that their squad was more like a under 19 team with few if may be two players with first class experience, good start to the tour though at least some of our guys can practice and get their confidence up.....

Yes, may be they wanted to soften us up by throwing some no names in that XI to give us false confidence, but hope that backfires and our team continues to draw from this good performance for the rest of the series.

Do you actually read other people's posts? Who here in the last two years has criticised Vusi? Vusi is one of the ZCF favourites.
