Zimbabwe Cricket have signed a deal with Qalandars franchise as part of which upcoming talent in ZC will undergo development and training at Qalandars high performance centre in Lahore and it will start right away in September.

Making the right moves ZC. Qalandars are a highly reputed franchise.

Nice, I think Qalandars have been doing this for a while, guys like Shane Dadswell from SA have played for them. They also had Antum Naqvi, who turned out to be a pretty good player...

Decent knock from nick welch. Took Ravi Bopara to the cleaners a bit
He finally got a promotion up the order in the second must win game and didn't really capitalise. 18 off 13 I think. He just had to knock it around a little as thsy were chasing a low total. Shouldn't have taken on that long boundary into the wind, should have waited for the next over.
He's an opener, and a good one.
I think these teams all started with 3 zim players and Raza insisted on 4. After all part of the reason is to give Zim players the exposure.
Not sure whether NW is considered local or overseas. It's a pity he hasn't had more exposure because he's comfortable at this level, rotates very well and can bang them miles.

The Zim lads all started poorly and have gotten better and better. It's been fantastic cricket.

There were three innings of 140 plus last night. Bloody amazing to watch. Literally 3 quiet balls would have won the game but it didn't happen.
Utappa is such a good player. Yusuf Patan had a blinder as well. They bowled poorly to him though.

Curious which pitch they'll use today
The last pitch is the banger. The others are tricky.

I’d use one of the middle tracks, I’m never keen on using the edge of the square or having a short side. I’m dull and boring and like something for the bowler.

It has to be in the watering and rolling. I'm not sure there can be much difference in the clay.
There have been some horrible pitches where the ball shoots along the ground.
I'm no expert, but there has to be a known way of preparing a relatively flat track. I don't think playing on a deck that's turning too much will be good for spectator value.
We need a 120 pitch, not a 100 or 140 one.
Not an easy ask

Ya what a spell from Brad Evans. 4 wickets!!
All pace off, that's what was working on this pitch.
The master of pace off is Mills. You're either getting it at 150 or 120 and he disguises it beautifully.
Do you set up for 150 or 120?
You could get yourself killed expecting 120 and he sends one in.
