No issues with the pitch. Green mamba or road - players have to adapt, that's why SA is number 1. Even with that said, its not that docile as people are making it. I thought it played well yesterday for both batsmen and bowlers.
Damn, boundaries are flowing now. I can accept that getting wickets will be tough but they should be doing everything they can to keep the run rate low.
Maybe time for Masakadza and Panyangara to come on and bowl wicket to wicket.
Tiripano to Elgar, OUT, and Tiripano has a wicket!! That one has a little less width on it and Elgar is tempted into having a swish, he reaches out for it and gets and edge. Mutumbami goes one handed to his left and snatches it out of the air for a stunning catch! He had very little time to react and Elgar is furious as he walks off
This is deffo not been easy for South Africa, the bowlers have bowled tightly and put South Africa under pressure, lots of dot balls and making them work for there runs
To have SA still plodding along at 2.60 an over at this stage is a minor triumph in itself. I don't mind a few wide ones outside off: We are the minnows (as confirmed by the umpiring yesterday), we don't have to take the game to the Saffers.
