The main issue here is we didn’t put enough runs on the board 265 runs is not a good first innings total on this ground the bowlers have no chance on this flat track,Taylor ,Raza and Maruma and chakabva failed us big time,If we had put on 390 in the first innings we would have been in a much better position.
Taylor, Raza and Maruma all had to do more but what do you expect from Chakabva? All he had to bat with was the tail. He came in to bat too late imo, should've been ahead of Maruma.
[/quote]

Chakabva is guilty of exposing the tail he basically took singles and exposed the tail.He could have done better by waiting for the bad ball.

He played right into their game plan

:W: Another one from Ainsley! Maybe he isn't that useless after all.

Well its Mithun, the most useless player in Tests going around (Maruma is a close second). To add to it, he edged it and still reviewed like a dumbass that he is. Thank goodness he failed on a flat track against a very weak bowling lineup. Definite no no for the Karachi Test.

Rain in the forecast now. There should be some play tomorrow, but as of now it looks like Day 5 will be completely washed out. Changes the calculus a bit for us to press for a win.

4th 150 for Mushy!

These two should just get us to 500 in the next 6-7 overs and declare, we need all the time we can get with rain. I think the pitch has flattened out as well.

I read some positive comments about Tshuma yesterday; what I see is a younger and slower version of Bobby Mpofu.

Something encouraging for Zim . It's pretty much been all Bangladesh so far.

Regi takes one :W:

Wow just saw the score. Not going well. Is the deck lifeless now or have the Bangladeshi batsman just been too good?

As disappointing as it is to have a scoreline like this, I'm still happy for Mushfiqur and Shanto. Both are good players and hopefully they can help Bangladesh get back on track in tests. Kriterion, is Shanto likely to play in the limited overs stuff or is he a five day specialist? From this game and the Pakistan series he seems quite talented.
