Ok is this a little bit of Pavlovs dog or something ?

People here are saying the pitch is flat and playing well into the batsmans hands, then on the other hand getting excited about the possibility of a 340 second innings lead and saying things like 200s par...?

From what I know that fourth innings reduced totals are only on the back of the pitch playing tricks?

From that perspective, and with our dud pace attack, then I don't think we have hit par score yet!

Getting close though.

But 350 to a batsmans paradise isn't much

I agree 350 is absolutely a must, as it creates the necessary psychological pressure for the batting side. But we're not favourites yet, not by a long way.

The pitch doesn't seemt to play any different than day two when we needed a number of very sharp catches, miraculous fielding and sheer luck in the case of Tharanga.

With Cremer scoring and Donald solid as ever (as long as he doesn't start thinking he's Sean Williams) I'm quietly eyeing 375.

Yes, every little tickle around the corner counts.
