I am pleased with the discipline. 3 wickets is a good start. Another before 200 would be great. They are facing a lot of balls. An unusual patience test in the modern era. (Although they just had one in SL, but still)

Hard to go past this though... to maintain that economy over that many overs is very impressive.

But yes, great effort by Panyangara. Plenty more overs to come though, but hopefully he can keep his economy this low for the duration of the innings.

Against SL, it was playing for a draw to protect their 1-0 lead, right? Against lowly ZImbabwe, you don't expect the #1 team in the world to be stonewalling. And yet we're making them do it. :D

South Africans have made it a habit of playing forever if needed, so there is no question of them throwing their wicket away out of frustration. But as long as they are made to work hard, we need not worry. Th game will now surely go to day 4, which is a victory in itself.

Nyumbu to de Villiers, OUT, Nyumbu has got moves too! In celebration he pulls out a dance that gets this crowd going. De Villiers seems to have had a lapse in concentration. He wanted to hit that over midwicket but wafted at it quite lazily. Sibanda was at midwicket and made no mistake sending Nyumbu into a dance of joy

AB de Villiers c Sibanda b Nyumbu 7 (34b 0x4 0x6) SR: 20.58
