True. I'm really looking forward to the tri-series. Will give us an excellent insight as to where we are at this stage in terms of playing the bigger teams. Against the West Indies we were very competative, especially with the ball. So i'm really ecited to see who performs, and who plays. Maybe we'll see a fresh face or two, perhaps Terrance Duffin or Foster Mutizwa
Dont think we will see Duffin has he has been out injured and just has not had enough cricket. I do think that the likes of Strydom, Chitara and Meth may have a shout.

But in terms of the T20 world cup, i think that Gavin Ewing, Andy Blignaut, Douggie Marriler, Keegen Meth, Justice Chibabha,Forster Mutizwa and even Craig Ervine are all in with a shout of making the squad.

Out of the team which toured the West Indies i think Matsikenyeri is as good as gone and question marks have to be asked of the likes of Sibanda and even possibly Lamb, i will excuse Taylor from this for now as he has consistency performed in the past.

Yeah thinking about it Zimfan1 you're probaby right. I'd love to see Tendai Chitara and both Bliggy and Marrilliar in the squad. Chitara looks to be an extremly talented fast bowler, and sooner or later he's going to get his chance to shine. Yeah if Stuart Matskinyeri is in the squad i'll be very disapointed. But for the past 2-3 years Zimbabwe have very rarley brought in a white player and taken out a black player. Or vice verser, it's just something i've noticed. I hope Campbell realises that Matsi isn't of international quality, and there's more serious talent now inside the country. :D

I think the reason why the selecters have given Matsikeneri a fair run as when Campbell came into the job he said that everyone had a clean slate and then Matsikenyeri went on to have a decent tour of Bangladesh and South africa and did well in the domestic season, so on that basis he deserved to be in the squad for the recent tour.

The question is now will they drop him, my instinct is yes but to be honest i would rather have him in the T20 squad than Sibanda who im sure will make the 15.

Hopefully Zim dog is back in a week when the suspension ends!
Excuse me but is ZimDoggy suspended, Maehera? Oh, boy you can't have! You've just gagged our most controversial and entertaining member. Granted his first post on this forum was highly detestable but he does have some valid views and I think he was also right abbout the India- Pakistan scenario. No racism there.

Hell, if he was a cricketer and I was a coach we would be saying, "well there's is something to work with there..."
