Re: [Series Thread] World Cup 2019
Great win by Sri Lanka last night , seems a bit like it was Afghanistan’s to lose though . But in all honesty afghanis losing makes me
Extremely chuffed ! Malinga bowled like the old
Malinga yesterday , seriously think our top 7 is way better than Afghanistan’s after watching their last 2 games very closely.

This would be hilarious and a prestigious award to receive.

What would you like to talk about?? There's zero news coming out of Zimbabwe concerning cricket

Interesting that Sri Lanka played 5 seamers and no front line spinner, I would have thought that would be a first for them??Andybligzz wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 10:09 pmGreat win by Sri Lanka last night , seems a bit like it was Afghanistan’s to lose though . I agree with you Bligz that the Zimbabwe top 7 is probably better than Afghanistan, only problem is Zimbabwe don't have a Rashid Khan to bowl to them when they face off.

Re: [Series Thread] World Cup 2019
Don't want to drag this, lot has been written already, Babar is a very good players, but I would still rate him at par with the likes of Tamim, Mushfiqur and Shakib.. Bangladeshi batsmen in my view are underrated. Babar is still below the ranks of Root, Smith, Virat. .. Well below to be honest.
Coming back to the WC, an important win for Sri Lanka, as I said Zimbabwean batting is more mature than Afghans but in bowling, mental toughness.. Afghans are much better.
Pakistan winning against England has lit up the World Cup... Things are becoming interesting now
Losing Steyn is a massive blow for RSA, keen to see if South Africa still have something left in the tank, or will they just succumb from here on, I hope not. For whatever it is worth they should back Amla to come good, no matter what. He is their only big name player, he has to rise to the occasion.

South Africa are done. Normally they leave it until the pointy end to choke, but Bangladesh were sublime. I hope BD go deep into this tournament - it's now or never; Shakib, Mushfiqur and Tamim at their peak.

Re: [Series Thread] World Cup 2019
79-4 at the moment against India, with Chahal and Bumrah making life very very difficult. I don't see SA progressing much further, especially with the loss of Dale Steyn; he surely is going to retire after this. It takes a lot to come back twice from the same injury, but three times..?brmtaylor.com admin wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 8:40 amSouth Africa are done. I can't believe they've left Markram out of this side
