In the social networking site Orkut, Ray price's trophy kissing pic is displayed by owner as Coventry's. quite bizarre. In other community on coventry, somebody else's pic is used. Why dont the world Refer ZCF ?

I can probably try to explain this. Perform a google image search for "Charles Coventry", and voila! you would get the Ray Price's trophy kissing pic in the first page of the result itself, with caption Charles Coventry (wk) under it.

And you know what, that pic on google results page comes from nowhere else but ZCF, thanks our very good friend zimfan1's avatar pic

So, some ignorant fellow would have thought this is one of Coventry's better pics and would have used it.

Coming to technology, image search has a long way to go, and as it stands today, it is just looking at text surrounding the image and assuming the connections between them. Way forward is image pattern matching and pattern recognition, little bit of machine learning and artificial intelligence, semantic web, and so on. As long as I am in this field, you can have hope :D.

AHA !!!!!!

I'm totally incapable of putting pictures on here, but for those that can ......

Go to google images and the 3rd picture is titled 'Taibu and Charles Coventry'

That takes you to The Sportstar and the Videocon Tri-Series of 2005

Which explains why Charles Coventry doesn't look quite himself ;)

Why not? I would say help yourself. If not anything else, at least for excavating something as entertaining as this :).

The writer has obviously followed the same path as that Orkut guy while imparting the vast knowledge he has about "Zimbabwe's great white cricketing hope".

A POINT !!, you're FAR to generous to me :D

I have to say, particularly as a white person, that headlines such as that one make me cringe, it may have been 'acceptable' 20 or 30 years ago but i would have thought that by 2005 common sense and decency would have prevailed, how must Chappie feel being associated with such a dreadful description of him ? hopefully things like that have been consigned to the dustbin of history.

83. Lets get to the next one. Brendan Taylor played a couple of memorable knocks in the recently concluded ODI series. Can you tell me what this moment is about? What was the occasion and the opposition?
