BD started with a 218 lead. In all likelyhood scoring even 218 in the 4th innings would be highly unlikely.

Any other team would keep their strike bowlers on, however, Jarvis only gets six overs and is off. It is not only a sign of the lack of options that we have, but also a sign of the thinking that a captain has. Hammy is a great servant to this team, but he is not a captain.

Don't take anymore wickets...Let them take their own time to get to a lead of 350 or so..

I knew they would target the spin. This is so poor from Hami. All the pressure is gone

In fairness we haven’t had a really pro-active captain for a long time. One of the senior players should have had a word if they were captain material and said- the moment is now! Bowl them for 8 overs each.
Anyway I’m an armchair captain and you’d think they know more than I.

I've always rated Chakabva, however, his keeping really is substandard.

First guy you pick in a team is the keeper. That’s why Murray should have had games. I know he’s not up to speed yet with the bat, which would keep him out of a top side, but he’s such a good keeper that you have to persevere with him and develop his batting. He’s hands down our best glove man.

If you need a list of stuff that demoralizes a team, first would be non payment and second would probably be knowing that you’re struggling and still don’t have the best team on the park because of selection issues.

Let’s hope Tino gets back into form and they can hand him the armband for the test side, he thinks like me
