There is one group of people (or two if you add the coaching staff) who have given everything they could but failed at the last hurdle. And then there is a group of people who don't seem to get much if anything done and a squandering the future of the game in Zim.

I know which group I want to continue to support; but it doesn't mean that I can't criticize them.

As for the other group, they should just go!
This is how I feel. I dont support this board at all. Metbank has too many close links to some of the past and present board members. Stinks of corruption. At the same time the players endorsed them by continuing to play and giving up county contracts to come back and play for the same guys. Heath Streak and Taibu endorsed them by signing up. Even guys like David Coltart are crying foul but he endorsed them previously.

Googly can cry foul because he has been crying for a while and has not changed that position. As for the players you cant cry foul after you let miĺlions of people down. Not only that they didnt cry foul until guys got fired. So if the entire technical team had been given another year to do something would they have complained? They are also part of the problem.

If a captain like BT is picked and they get a decent coach and the money they are owed they will keep quiet again. Do they cry when their domestic setup brothers are given peanuts months after it was due? Would they have cried if they had beaten the UAE and received their salary arrears and 40k bonus? These guys are also part of the problem but they dont want to see it. You cant cry foul when you do somethig wrong then the oppressor who was hurting everybody else turns on you. They also made mistakes. Nobody is perfect in this scenario
What choice do the players have TapsC ??? These guys are patriotic and want to play international cricket, if this was club soccer then ZC would have no players, fans or anything. The Rebels tried to make change but it didn't work so the current players will look at the likes of Rogers, Ferreria, Friend, Sims, Carlisle, Wishart etc whose careers were ended because they didn't have the luxury of County deals like Ervine, Streak, Grant, Price and Bligz ( Sheffield Shield ) had. Their careers were ended and when you look at the current mob only BT, Raza, KJ and to a lessor extent Mire, Cremer and Ervine could probably earn a wage overseas.

If these guys want to play international cricket they have no choice but to play under ZC, I'm sure he players are not happy about a range of things but the desire to play International cricket and qualify for the World Cup was so great they played on despite.

Honestly how much satisfaction can BT or KJ got from playing county cricket ??? I know here in oz nobody watches Shield cricket it's purely about producing Test players for Australia so for an overseas player I would think it's just about the money

Just a small error :)

Friend did find a county. Derbyshire it was if I remember correctly. A couple of sub-par seasons later he decided flying high was more his cup of tea.

Their choice is for all players to stop playing cricket until these guys go. Cricket here is dead under their rule. Completely finished. Wake up lads and do what’s right.
