Re: [Match Thread] Pakistan v Zimbabwe (T20 Warmup)
Great performance. Not only did we win,we bowled them for 131.
It is important to stand up for what is right.

Well done Zimbabwe
You deserved the win, we've out played Pakistan in all departments today. May the good results keep coming our way in the T20 Tournament starting Monday

Well done boys! With you all the way.
Any prices for Chigs being Man of the Tournament if Zim do advance?

This is world stage, what if its just warm up matches? we are showing our abilities at the right stage. Elton Chigumbura you Legend! what a performance again! Prosper does a great job too.
All we need to ensure for the tournament is that we are not over-relying on Chiggs. Another extremely important aspect was HM getting some runs and confidence under his belt.
Now, the team that I would go for:
H Masakadza
T Taibu
C Ervine
B Taylor / C Coventry
E Chigumbura
A Blignaut
G Cremer
G Lamb
P Utseya
R Price
C Mpofu
Pretty much what Mike has suggested a little earlier in the thread. Bottom heavy, but having a Blignaut instead of a Vusi or a Chibhabha is a much better gamble.

Re: [Match Thread] Pakistan v Zimbabwe (T20 Warmup)
Two really good performances by Zimbabwe, to win both the warm-up games is quite an achievement. Most importantly, it's given our key players the chance to play themselves into form at the right time against quality opponents.
A special mention needs to be made of Mpofu; in my last post I was critical of him, but he's played well in the warm-ups and deserves to be selected on current form.
It will be interesting to see which opening pair we go with, it might be Masakadza and Taylor.
