I know I got called out in this thread yesterday. I'll own my part. I'm aware I am a nervous sports watcher and more so when it comes to Zim. It's never against anyone. My mental state at the moment is not suited to being a strong contributor to the forums, and I don't wish to upset anyone. Hopefully I'll return in a better state and with Zim having qualified for the World Cup.

Totally agree with that , I wasn't disregarding those guys performances at all , they have been very good but Williams is the key and I do worry that if he gets out cheaply it's big trouble hence why the extra bat is a must.
He got out cheaply v the Windies, Raza & Burl stood up and got us to a defendable total then the bowlers did the rest.
This Zimbabwe team is far from a one man band that’s for sure

It's a 3 1/2 man band in the batting dept. We still have guys that can bat but they're unreliable

Is there any conceivable way we coould not make it on 8 points?
Such as a scenario we beat SL by a whisker and get pumped lebanese style by the Scots

Yeah, Scotland can still get to 8. So three massive wins from them would see them through.

Lets hope West Indies beat Scotland tomorrow and this possibility disappears.
