Afghanistan choked hard. Maxwell had a lot of lives early on and that easy catch that went down was like a switch. He was unstoppable after that.

If Afghanistan had beaten Australia I think we never would have played them again.

You'd think wide yorkers at a guy that can barely move would have been the way forward.

I'm rewatching it. That good
How many times can a physio run on before opposing captain and/or umpires start getting miserable

He’s made some cheese today hey?! Feed his family on the mean streets of Kabul for a year even after paying the taliban tax.

I don't think we'll see a game like that again for a long time.
Those Afghan bowlers who bowled so well just ran out of ideas. Should have bowled wide yorkers and slower balls. Spinners should have taken real pace off one or two deliveries, anything to make him mistime one.
It was just his day.
I was rooting for Afghanistan, but they were beaten by a one legged genius, at least we were spared the onfield prayers.

That might be the greatest innings of all time because everybody else failed. Another big factor for me is that Mxwell only had 3 ODI centuries before that. Scoring big has never been his role. Playing his natural game for that long is absolutely incredible. Injured as well
