[Match Thread] Zimbabwe v South Africa: Only Test
Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v South Africa: Only Test
How do you feel about Tiripano's inclusion now? 2 fer. A fighting dig down the order. We have not missed Shingi as much as I thought we would.

He was a tough nut, and quite the sledger.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Re: [Match Thread] Zimbabwe v South Africa: Only Test
I wonder if it would have been worth sacrificing Chakabva instead of Masakadza.
Let's think targets... 0/20 by stumps and I'd be happy. In fact, no wickets down for anything and I'd be happy.
Probably no point looking ahead any further at the point, but it goes without saying we'll probably need to bat for at least all of tomorrow to keep the chance of a draw alive.
Masakadza off the mark

So now we know what "sent home to work on his game" means in ZC parlance: Paying yourself to go to SA to get some coaching/training.
