Just watched Nick Welch bat on TV against Clifton in the T20 finals day. Scary talent He was facing Liam Hurt, who's one of the fastest guys in all of Lancashire an he just laid waste to him

Obviously these names we’ve thrown up aren’t worthy of being given lucrative contracts like BT, KJ & possibly Mire we’re given but I can’t see the harm in these guys being approached to return to the setup and earn a central contract.
u19 stats working. Very good! :D !

Bring him to SA to face Bokako, Cele and Zuma. They are not among the 30 fastest in SA :)

Side arm has revolutionized batting. Batsmen, especially the good ones, are a lot more comfortable against pace than in days gone by. A good guy can crank it up to 145 or even faster and you have to deal with him for 150 deliveries. He had to cope with Mills in a trials game for Sussex, he’s the quickest around. No one likes genuine pace, but this lad has the goods. Time will tell.

Send those Bokako, Cele, Zuma guys to bowl at the second string Karnataka team in Ranji trophy.

See, that is how ridiculous that statement was.

You have not been following the conversation. If you did you would be aware that there was a very specific discussion on this.

There’s a Zim kid called Booth at Hilton who’s just been picked for Natal u17 as a bowler. I’ve heard he’s good, but haven’t personally seen him. You have to be ok to get the nod as a Zim and white as a seamer. Worth keeping an eye on him. He will be a good guy to include in the next U19.
