I hope someone has been working with the tailenders, doesn't look like it so far. You'd think they would considering how often we collapse like this.

Today’s defeat lies in squarely in the hands of Craig “The Muppet” Ervine and Elton “Walking Wicket” Chigumbura

Ja, Ervine and Elton were supposed to show a bit more maturity. Vitori and Chris gave us some entertainment though!

Vitori looks to have a bit of spunk about him, the way he bowled and took on the south africans at the end of the innings, One for the future

Elton needs a rest though, His bowling figures were good today but his batting is abysmal, I dont think he has scored a 50 since the ODI match against west indies last march some 16 months ago

Who would have thought that Zim would have all these fast bowlers lined up for a place in the national team? Mpofu is definitely the leader of the attack, Meth can bring his swing into the equation, Chatara with his pace, S. Masakadza with his... (nothing special, but all I know is he's exciting!), Kyle Jarvis with his raw pace and of course the man of the moment Brian Vitori. Also other seamers worth mentioning like Njabulo Ncube, Panyangara, Nicolson. We might still be losing to second string sides, but all of u will agree when I say the future looks bright!tioning like Njabulo Ncube, Panyangara, Nicolson. I think we keenly felt the loss of Cremer,Williams and Taibu so to say the Zimbabwe side was at absolute full strength would be an overstatement

We are definitely missing the services of a few key players, but at least three quarters of the full national side is played in this series. I think the most disappointing thing about thing is they fail to even get a single victory even against the S. Africa A side which was pretty weak. Maybe Taibu and Willams could've added a bit of something to that batting order, but it doesn't change the fact that some regulars in the full squad failed to contribute anything signicant (apart from Chakabva, Taylor and Hamilton) with the bat.
