am quite surprised with the way the people are throwing kirsty under the bus. when she assumed office, people were calling for her to clean up sports associations, with cricket being the centre focus, now that she has done it through the src and the outcome has gone down south, people are character assassinating her, what exactly do we need as zimbos, we always talk left and walk right.

Well was the new SRC her initiative? It has her fingerprint for sure. It’s a good one.
The problem is that at best she’s manipulating in the background, she needs to be bloody bold and resolute. We need leaders and not background string pullers. If she’s afraid her whiteness is going to count against her then she’s in the wrong job.
Her statement is saying SRC is not government, it’s an independent board, but you have to say it out aloud for the uninformed.
We’re waiting for her to say- Stand back everyone, I’ve got this and I’m taking them down and fixing cricket and we’re going to prosecute any wrong doings and we will be ready to roll in a month.
She should have stopped that netball entourage going to the UK and she should make a statement saying the police are at the airport waiting to arrest the people that’s have stolen the supper money and their daily allowances and further arrests for the people that are getting 400 a day whilst the players should be getting 10, but even that’s been stolen. Then she will have everyone’s support.
It’s not a popularity contest though. Let’s see if she sneakily gets this done.

Yeah well we bloody well hope so. Mlotshwa and Co are smart and I hope a lot smarter than Mukhulani’s gang.
You can’t win if you’re not wearing the right party scarf, Mukhulani and crew should know that because that’s what enabled them to assume power and steal, they’re on the wrong side of the fence now and crying foul.
If the public can boycott his pharmacy and the police stop government officials stealing hospital medicines and selling them through their own private chemists, Zimbabwe can teach him about what’s a hobby and what isn’t.

I am devastated that the @ICC ruling has affected our @ZimCricketv Players.

There is need for good governance at ZC for the international success we all want to see. Any decisions towards that should never affect the Players.

Minister of Sport elects SRC board (ICC do not see this as Gvt interference). SRC is not Government - they are a Public Body.

One of the tweets I read claimed that our national side had been divided racially by this. I would really like to know if that’s true? If the black players are not fully onboard then this is pointless.
The white guys are liking various tweets and the black guys are as usual not sticking their necks out for anything.
