Coltart wades in again. For Richardson not to act there’s obviously a lot going on behind the scenes. Of course those South Africans are about as slippery as you get. A free curry in a corporate box at the IPL and that would guarantee Richardson’s balls in a little glass jar.

The ICC have overstepped their remit.
They know full well that the ZC board has been "naughty" they have seen the proof they have heard testament and received avidafits.
As they say in the Amazon forrest @those that let paedophiles free may as well f%$k the kids themselves@

Won't be long before the #ICCBOARD MUST GO gets started: starting with a dossier to the FBI.

In the interim cricketers miss nothing- season won't start until September, October,November, December or maybe January???
Club cricket will continue. Franchise will collapse .
Zim Cricket having no money think they can last 3 months working for nothing? Let the siege begin with the purge.

What is the current status? Currently is the new board heading Cricket or the old one, or no one?

As far as I’m aware they’re still in lockdown. ZC have indicated they’re willing to work with SRC to solve the impassé, but SRC have not responded, well they may have but it’s not public yet.
The wimps are hoping they’ll cut a deal “for the good of cricket continuity,” but the others are hoping there’s a no-deal Brexit!
We want them prosecuted, in pyjamas and out for good.
Does SRC have the stomach and the ammunition for this hard-line stance? Do they have the firepower to get it done in a short space of time also? On the face of it there’s a 3 month window to achieve this, but that’s not realistic, this is Africa.

They have to go for the no-deal Brexit don't they?

It's just been a waste of everyone's time if they cut a deal now. Cricket is dead anyway, nothing to lose at this point - go for the hail mary I reckon.

So I'm assuming if the old board is not reinstated the SRC will have to ensure a new board is 'elected' in next 3 months?

If not i think ICC will expel Zimbabwe altogether, because there is no way they r allowing SRC to be in charge.

No I would think ICC have avenues to appeal. It looks like they’ve been very heavy handed.

It would appear that they haven’t made the same decisions for other boards with similar circumstances which can be appealed. It’s apparent also that there’s a strong lobby for ZC that doesn’t smell right. We may never find out who they are, but I’d guess India and South Africa would be at least two of them.

I really think there’s opportunity here. I was going though these posts and we all go off at a tangent as new info come in, but the people I know are determined to see this through. As I said earlier we are dead anyway under this administration. If we get booted now it’s a shame for the current national side but it’s not just about them. We need a fresh start, limping from one financial crisis to the next and loss after loss and having no real structures month after month is a waste of time. ZC’s story of “we’re managing legacy debt and we do have a solid plan” is a complete lie. Anybody that believes that is just plain stupid or is on the gravy train. This is our last chance to put things right. Even if it’s successful we face a long uphill struggle because we don’t have the players and there are retirements coming in 2-3 years, but we have to try.
