The best thing about Mavuta is that he is a fighter who never looks like giving up. He tries his best even with the bat.

Wow PJ showing what he is capable of :6:

Real shame our top order shit themselves we could have won that.

Really impressed with Mavuta he really showed he has the drive to fight, compete and win. We need more guys like him.

I guess that’s why Moor is still in the squads, the coaches know he’s capable of this.

That was some good raw hitting. More from the top order and ZIM could have chased this down or gotten really close.

Good fight shown by Zimbabwe. Yeah as rightly said if only they can handle Tahir better. I'm also a bit disappointed with Brendan, he needs to step up. They've missed Raza quite a lot this series but good thing he will be back in the next one.

Well done Zimbabwe, good to see a fight.

Thats also why players like Ervine should never be dropped for "poor form". Players should only be dropped for inability (eg Chigs, Vusi, Waller, etc). I used to knock Hamilton and Williams, but I see now that while they aren't the top 3 or 4 batters for ZIM, they are still in the top 6-7 and thus are essential personnel in any ZIM XI.

No we need Solly and Hammy up front. Hammy must just hit in the V. He gets bogged down easily and resorts to lapping and sweeping as a get out of jail strategy. He left two easy cut shots early on that would have broken his shackles.
They have to drop Chigs and Chibhabha.
I guess Kamunhkamwe and Murray.
I know they haven’t fired but if I were the selector I would stick with Ervine, I don’t care what anyone says, he’s better all day every day in all formats.
I’d stay with Burl as well. I’ve seen him play over the years and he’s better than Chigs and Chibhabha in my opinion.
SA are looking shaky, they’re very beatable.

Chisoro’s position is questionable. How much better is he going to bowl next game? They like his bowling. Rather Hammy or Solly bowl and we pick another batsman.

Cricket is a weird game. Mavuta can hardly hold a bat and he’s killing it.
Wasn't he an all rounder?
Jeez I hope he’s not considered an all rounder. He’s all over the place with the bat. Middled a few tonight but he will never get it together against top opposition as a batsman. He believed, jeez haven’t seen that for a while.
