That was a tough day, the difference was that Australia at that time were actually miles ahead of everyone else. WIs are in a shambles. Plus Hayden could take his time.Dr_Situ(ZimFanatic) wrote:Not as worse as Hayden's 380 for mezimbos_05 wrote:This has got to be up there with one of the worst days ever in my life as a zim fan.
We currently on track for the record of most runs ever conceded at a world cup combined i reckon.

Opening with Chakabva... The lack of imagination is infuriating. Why not Chigs? We need to capitalize on the first 10 as if it's the last 10. No point him coming out at 6/150 when the game is gone.

Need it to rain for about 3 hours.
We have no chance, but apply D/L and a rate of 10+ is in play - which is just plain impossible.

Chakabva's promotion as opener was blunder. I would have preferred Raza-Hami as openers. With no Mire, we need Elty around 35th over. Taylor, Willo, Slug are quality players in the middle. Matsi could have sacrificed anywhere. Having said that dont understand the logic of so many batsmen against WI. Needed an extra bowler. Didn't utilised Stuey for a single over. I've only now scrolled through the commentary, but that must have been painful watching, and all this after we could have had Windies 2 wickets down in the first over.
Kamungozi, the less said the better. That was always coming.
Btw, who was the player who dropped Samuels? And is this rain going to last?

Need to keep wickets in tact. Rather than just trying to go hell for skelter, we would be best rotating the strike and getting the odd 2/3/boundary off every over. But no need to play stupid shots, like that.
Can't believe we going to be humiliated by this WI side.
