My eleven for pakistan match

1) Taylor
2) Chakbva
3) Sibanda
4) taibu
5) Ervine
6)Chigumbura
7) Utseya
8) Cremer
9) Shingarai masacadza
10) Price
11) Mpofu
I honestly think Junior masacadza can do some damage against pakistan and he can bat ok too. 45 not out against Ireland and I will always remember those two massive sixes he hit off Botha the south african player- We need more fearless cricketers like him

Guys listen I'm not being funny, but you're all so fickle.

I'm kinda getting bored of coming on and seeing, just after one (or two) bad games, players 'aren't cut for international cricket', yet previously (say 3/4 months ago) they were the best things that ever happened to Zimbabwean Cricket.

I don't know where any of you got this pace from with Panyangara....
Whenever i saw him bowl, which was a test series against Bangladesh in 2005, he was bowling 80Mph ever single ball, no quicker, no slower....what sources are you using to suggest that he had some gas ? If anything he's got quicker!

And lets just clarify, we've got a good bunch of fast bowlers. Yes, they're raw, and probably not at the level of international cricket just yet i.e Ian Nicholson, Kyle Jarvis, Chitara, Mazakadza....but I'm kind of sick to death of reading ridiculous comments about us not having any quality fast men, or how just after one bad game, he's gone from gods Saviour, to gods mistake.

Get used to it fellas, Heath Streak is going to stick to the likes of Panyangara, Mpofu, Mazakadza etc, because at the end of the day, they're the best we've got...

2nd statement I agree with, 1st not so much...

One thing needs to be accepted on this board. Very few, if any, Zim players are genuinely international quality. HOWEVER, this does not necessarily mean that they should be discarded after a couple of poor performances, as they are all that is available. A case in point, Mpofu, some way short of the standard you would expect for an opening bowler in international cricket, therefore on a bad day, he going to suffer some brutal treatment. But, he appears to be the best option available, and whilst that is the case, should continue to be selected and receive support, rather than criticism.
