So Jonty, stop beating around the bush and lay out in clinical fashion what you know about mismanagement at ZC.
There are so many rumors, let's hear your story.

Would be smart even if it is just to snuff out the Irish option

Yep.

Like others have said... a warm up match between zim and kenya is enough to blood these dudes.

If he has any thoughts of playing for England he'll be smart enough to say "Nah, thanks" if ZC's selectors ever come knocking. And given ZC's forward planning 'skills', I doubt they'd think of that anyway.

The wondrous travels of Cephas (aka "The Rock", aka "The Mayor") continue. Inbetween scoring over a 1000 runs for his club at an av. of over 60, he did indeed spend some time as a net bowler for England and NZ, as someone had mentioned before. Here's confirmation:
Cephas Zhuwao was able to show his skills recently during two days spent bowling at the England and New Zealand players at Lord's prior to the Test.”

He was also man of tournament in a six-a-side tourny for Lashings:
Cephas Zhuwao was player of the tournament as Lashings emerged from a tough semi-final with Surrey Kings to beat Team Trojans in the final - with no small thanks to a blistering performance with bat and ball by Inzamam-ul-Haq.
He has also recently represented the MCC against a Young Scotland XI at scenic Stirling.

Now he's been entered for London's Super Over competition, with a chance to win himself and his club 500 pounds each. But he probably needs a few more votes to get in: http://www.superover.co.uk/vote/

I reckon he's having the time of his life, rubbing shoulders with legends left, right and centre, smashing sixes for fun ...

He should then get an EU passport first. It might require him to change his name to "Petros", though, otherwise the authorities in Athens might pack him off to Jerusalem.
