I think people need to calm down. Yes it's another poor batting display against the afghans but if we do lose it isn't the end of the world, we can still qualify.

I don't think it was a bad decision. Afghanistan coming off the back of a loss, Zim coming off a good win... runs on the board in a pressure game are really valuable.
The big mistake was throwing away such a great opportunity.

If we don't win this game, our destiny is not in our own hands any more. We'll be relying on other results to go our way (Scotland have already done us a favour in that respect).SpitfiresKent wrote: ↑Tue Mar 06, 2018 10:58 amI think people need to calm down. It's really, really disappointing.

Only way we qualify here is an 8-3 against the other 4 expected teams in the super 6... We would have still been in the game.. bring in Williams and PJ. Drop Waller and one of those bowlers. It's our only chance
It will still be in our hands. Very much so. Scotland Beating Afghanistan changed everything

The only thing we can do now is to take this game as deep as possible. If we lose by 3 wickets in the 47th over it won't be so bad for our overall net run rate compare to losing by 9 wickets in the 23th over.

196 is something to defend at least. We really need all of the bowlers to turn up though and someone to take a 5-fer.

I'm hoping sir Graeme can pull out some magic here.
Perhaps the arrogance of Afghanistan will get the better of them.
Can only wait, hope and pray now that we bring our A game with the ball.

If Sir Graeme wins this for us, he can have a peerage - Baron Cremer of Salisbury

Hami has delivered in recent times. You cant compare the two.. this is why I'm more disappointed in Hami because I actually expected something. Waller is simply a passenger in this team. He offers no hope at allTrain Driver wrote: ↑Tue Mar 06, 2018 10:58 amWhat's wrong with you lot? Waller is no more a useless shite than virtually every other Zimbabwean player, Masakadza is top of the useless list, he's supposed to be one of the two best bats in the country, blame him more than Waller
The bottom line is that Zim are just too bad to continue as a Test and ODI side, they are an embarrassment and have been overhauled by teams like Ireland, Afghanistan and Scotland, they couldn't even bowl out Nepal FFS
I've been rooting for the side for years but I've given up now as they have no right to take their place at the big boys table

I'm hoping they try come out guns blazing. NRR is going to decide this tournament but it could also make them crumble
