Well, nothing more to add at least from my side...

From what I read earlier in the thread, looks like its not just the cricket I missed watching today ;)

I love this guy and his painstaking efforts :)
Amen!

Great show boys!

And before I forget, congrats Hamilton; and thanks for the special screen grabs bayhaus...

A great win by Zimbabwe. It is no longer a shock to see Zimbabwe winning - certainly at home. Let's hope we go on and win the final. I don't believe we have ever won a tournament consisting of full-member teams?

Million dollar question: just what has Butcher said to our batsmen to encourage such a dramatic improvement in performance!? :D

Maybe he has told them to perform or face the axe and reminded them that they are now one of the more experienced ODI teams in world cricket.

Whatever they are doing in the change room, its working. Today was a good performance by the team. The deserved to win. Maybe we should remember that when Sri Lanka was last here we give a few games away. But now we seem to be doing a good job all round. With the moral high and Sri Lanka out for revenge we are in for an exciting final.

I think the inclusion of Alan Butcher into the set up has been a god send. He seems like a tough cookie but fair at the same time. Like you you rightly pointed out, he's probably just told them to perform or be dropped. Look who we have waiting in the wings now compared to say three to four years ago, youngsters like Keegan Meth, Sean Williams, Foster Mutizwa, Gerald Aleseni, Tendai Chitara, Greg Strydom, Kyle Jarvis, Mark Vermuelan etc, are all pushing for spots in the national side.

I'm glad I've stuck with Zimbabwe, we've had some bad times, and some terrible times haven't we...but boy, the good times just keep on rolling. Now is our time to shine. We've got one of the most experienced teams in ODI Cricket now, and even some of our younger bowlers (Jarvis and Chitara) have had a taste of international cricket.

Good luck in the final lads, I'll be supporting you all the way, just like evrybody else on this forum ! :D
