For average youngsters(which Bracewell, Jarvis & Vitori will always be the way I see it), whether they are fast, skillful or spin it much, that's usually the case. Check the old Test bowling match lists of Fidel(WI), and progressively monitor Vitori's as well as Nathan Lyon's & Bracewell! You will have no choice but to agree with me!

Those three may never be greats of the game - we're probably with you there. But the argument is never really about that, but about whether they can be servicable international players. Bracewell and Jarvis are showing early career signs of that being acheiveable.

You are clearly obsessed with putting down average youngsters, hhm. Ok, they might not be great, as Jemisi has pointed out, but in this case NZ have no great 30 year-old fast bowlers with 200+ test wickets missing out because Bracewell and Boult got the nod. Are Arnel or Aldridge better because they are 30+? Their respective forays into international cricket suggest otherwise. And Tuffey, to name another experienced pro, does not even play FC cricket anymore.
