Re: Phantom Draft
Alright, going for the next round, we want to secure the best spinning option available. No dramas here, Natsai Mushangwe stays home.

Now the attack from the hills is looking particularly menacing.

Mountaineers looking very strong here keeping the same team plus adding Mutumbami ……

Sorry Regis, Raza and co., there won't be any easy double centuries available against our attack.Jemisi wrote:Now the attack from the hills is looking particularly menacing.

Re: Phantom Draft
Another eventful round; the salary caps are starting to diverge now too with the Eagles having more in the bank than the other teams. I'm sure the irony of Nick Welch being veteran listed by Mashonaland is not lost on anyone, but as CrimsonAvenger said the Masakadza ruling was bound to open a pandora's box.
Movements in round 4:
#13 Welch -> Mountainners (vetoed by Eagles)
#13 Mutumbami -> Mountaineers
#14 Welch -> Eagles
#15 M Waller -> Rhinos
#16 Vermeulen -> Tuskers
Pending any more vetoes, at the end of round 4:

Re: Phantom Draft
The Eagles coaching staff are disappointed at the signing of Mushangwe by the Mountaineers, but are happy to announce the signing of Nathan Waller as their next pick.

Re: Phantom Draft
There will be a few disappointed senior pros at the end of this draw who will rue their managers' decision to put them up at 3.000 $.

Re: Phantom Draft
Some of the under performing national team discards will be in trouble for sure.
I don't think we have too much of an advantage due to picking first, we just focused on out bowling unit first, by compromising on our batsmen picks. For example, if we had not vetoed Shingi, we would have got Regis. And the overall quality of all 4 teams look pretty much the same for now.
