Sort of.

You'll probably have noticed that brmtaylor.com admin hasn't been with us since part-way through the Bangladesh series. I haven't commented on this as I've been trying to contact him to check the situation. I've since received a short email from him, and can report that due to other priorities he'll no longer be playing an active role on ZCF.

This is unfortunate - while I'm good at digging up the news (although some here are giving me a good run for my money on that front!), brmtaylor.com admin was far better at analysing games and the strengths & weaknesses of the Zim side than I am, and his contributions will be missed. I am, however, fully understanding that there are more important things in life than a cricketing message board, and would like to put on record my thanks for helping get ZCF up & running, and I'm sure most (all?) of you would join me in that.

What does this mean for ZCF? In practical terms, nothing - we now have one active admin instead of two, but ZCF has always been more about the members than the people running it and I have no plans to change that.

Thats a great shame about brmtaylor.com admin and i wish him all the best and would like to thank him for all his hard work in creating a place for all fans of Zimbabwe cricket to meet and discuss the game. I myself was first attracted to ZCF from finding brmtaylor.com which has proved a haven for myself, as we all know how hard it is to find information about Zimbabwe cricket and this forum has proved to be the most reliable place to find information (far better than Cricinfo and Zimcricket.org) I now have become a massive fan of ZCF and Zimcricketnews .com and being a university student have way to much free time in the day to cruise to site which im sure is not going help my final degree mark in the long run

I would like to say thanks to Maehara for his commitment to the site and hope he continues for many a year to come as recently the forum membership has been increasing in big numbers which is great to see, just as Zimbabwe seem to be on the way to recovery and hopefully secure a return to test cricket.

The best thing about this site is that all the members seem intelligent people and we can have good sensible discussion without throwing insults around which cannot be said for the majority of forums out there. So keep up the good work Maehara and thanks to brmtaylor.comadmin for all your efforts :D

This forum is certainly the best place to discuss Zimbabwean cricket. I agree with Zimfan about the level of discussion on this site. I have never seen any profanity or abuse or personal attacks. Other sports forums I read are just full of idiots abusing each other because they disagree and every conversation thread turning into the same yelling-fest.

Many thn ks to Maehara and brmtaylor.com admin for their hard work in keeping these sites going. If you ever need any asisstance with anything let me know.
