Leave off Keith Dabengwa.

He's done enough to deserve to be in the squad. Perhaps not the final eleven, but definitely the squad, who deserves to be in there ahead of him??

I think Chibhabha definitely deserves a spot ahead of Dabengwa.

Fair shout. But, I think that if they were to select the first 15, both players would be in.

The big problem with Dabengwa is his age, he is now in his 28th year and still hasn't made a breakthrough.

On pure stats in all 1st class and List A he has managed the following

3 Tests and 20 ODI's 350 @ 20.59 HS 45 and 14 wickets @ 55.43

All 1st class and List A 2175 @ 22.42 in 114 innings with 1 hundred and 9 fifties and 112 wickets @ 36.20

I don't think there is anyone who would not be happy if he was doing the business with either bat or ball, let alone both, but he just isn't and at his age he should not be holding back younger players from having the opportunity of showing their potential.

It appears there was an unchanged lineup as expected (although Cricinfo have been known to be wrong).

V Sibanda, H Masakadza, SC Williams, T Taibu, BRM Taylor, E Chigumbura, RW Chakabva, AG Cremer, GB Brent, RW Price, T Muzarabani

0/9 from 4 overs, need to up the rate a bit. Titans will be batting under lights though, so there will be that short dusk period where batting will be hard, and perhaps Boom Boom can get a bit of swing. Not sure of Muzarabani can swing the ball, but if he can the conditions might suit him for opening the bowling.

Rain stopped play after the 4 overs, looks like a nice sort of day to play a day/night match 8-)

And they are back on again, must have just been a shower. Hopefully the batsmen play the ball along the ground a bit for the next few overs, negate any swing the bowlers were getting.

0/10.

It might have been a shower, but there again, it might only have been a cricinfo shower.

14-0 after 6 overs and not a single boundary.
