Zimbabwe's Windies tour confirmed?
West Indies tour of Zimbabwe seems to have been confirmed, as this news report talks about West Indies 'A' team taking on Zimbabwe in the Caribbean next year. It would be good if we get a 5 ODI series against them.

I guess that this cricinfo report must be the closest thing we're likely to get in the way of an official announcement
http://www.cricinfo.com/westindies/cont ... 39115.html
Arrive in the West Indies on february 23rd, then a warm-up match, 1 20/20 International and 5 ODI's finishing on march 14th
Domestically the Metropolitan Bank 20/20 gets underway on march 16th but, what is much more of a concern, is that the last round of the Logan Cup is to be played from 17th to 20th february and the final from 24th to 28th. This would mean that the culmination of the franchise efforts in the biggest Zimbabwean domestic competition will be played by two sides missing possibly 4 or 5 of their best players
The only way out, as far as i can see, is to postpone the Logan final until after the 20/20 final has been played on march 27th or put back the 20/20 until the players have returned and played the Logan final.

I was expecting at least one 4 day game, Zim looks like having more talent than WI second XI. Would have been a great opportunity to analyze where we stand.
A 5 ODI series and a T20I are great nonetheless, expecting a 2-3 result at the very least.

Re: Zimbabwe's Windies tour confirmed?
we should win sum there
12.4 Odhiambo to Vermeulen, FOUR, that's an appalling long hop, Vermulen had plenty of time to get into position, drink a cup of tea, and pull the ball towards the long leg boundary- his first boundary today
