The following regular players are not playing:
Regis Chakabva
Tino Mutombodzi
Trevor Garwe
Ryan Burl
Tawanda Mupariwa
Chris Mpofu
Brian Vitori
John Nyumbu
Godwill Mamhiyo
Brian Chari
Prince Masvaure
Timycen Maruma
Natsai Mushangwe
Donald Tiripano
Victor Nyauchi
and I've probably missed a few. What's going on? The names involved might suggest that there is some kind of A-team camp or upcoming match. Can anyone shed any light?

Re: Current Logan Cup round
Yes, so many fringe national players missing. Could be an A team tour, not a word about that though. Could the seniors be striking, demanding their paychecks or right to create a union? Or, could it be the repercussion of the attempt to bring the Verm back in the fold? Intriguing...

OK, remembering a mention of A team series between AFG and ZIM at Greater Noida. Could it be for that?

The U-19 series will be followed by two first class matches and three List A one-dayers between the national A-teams. The first class matches will be played between January 16 and 19 and January 22 and 25. The one dayers are scheduled on January 28, 30 and February 1. Greater Noida is also gearing up to hold full internationals between the same national teams.

Good to see the regular fixtures with Afghanistan at all levels. Not so good to see that they are beating Zim at all of these levels at the moment! (Will the 4 day games be FC? Do associate A-teams have FC status?)

Hmm, look at the way we need to dig information out! Why are Lovemore Banda and co. getting paid if there is zero communication?
