It is monumental stupidity to not give game time to Wellington Masakadza / Mufudza - who both seem to be better equipped than the recent showings of Nyumbu and MShangwe. Mutombodzi will never make the team as a spinner anyway, so it is a free ride for MShangwe in this match, for no reason.

Well said. Mushangwe hasn't done anything substantial in the domestic season. Zim missed a trick by not picking W Masakadza who has been with Zim national side for sometime & played 10 odd ODIs or someone like Mufadza who has performed well & better than Mushangwe.

I never liked the Mutombodzi selection, that too as a captain. Picking any one of Vusimuzi Sibanda, Peter Moor or Malcolm Waller would have been nice.

Silly to pick Sean Williams in the squad and not play him. But I guess they weren't gonna drop their Zim A captain Mutombodzi for the number 5 Test select. :(

'Monumental stupidity' indeed.

Well, the Saffers don't seem to have been too monumentally stressed out by our bowling today.

Pathetic selection. Maruma, Mutomzodi and Mushange? Should have selected Williams, Waller and Wellington.
