[Match Thread] Rocks v Rhinos (Logan Cup)
Southern Rocks v Midwest Rhinos
Masvingo Sports Club, 3-6 February 2010
Rhinos need to win this if they're to have any chance of reaching the final - if they do, then the 2nd spot in the final will likely go to the winners of Mountaineers v Rhinos in the final week. Rocks are already out of the picture.

Re: [Match Thread] Rocks v Rhinos (Logan Cup)
Game underway, the cricinfo sides are
Rocks : Maregwede*, Chisoro, C Ervine, S Ervine, Kamungozi, Machiri, Mahwire, S Marillier, Matanga, Maunze & Munyaradzi
Rhinos : Sibanda*, Chapungu, Chikunya, Chinouya, Cremer, Muzhange, Nkala, Rainsford, Taylor, Waller & Wessels
If these sides are correct then it's a debut for Sean Ervine but no Ian Harvey or Doug Marillier, assuming that it's actually Steve not Doug in todays side, for Rhinos we have U19 seamer Richard Muzhange in for Taurai Muzarabani.
Rocks starting on top in this match having Rhinos, who chose to bat, 16-2 from 8 overs, Chikunya 10, Nkala 0, Taylor 3*, Sibanda 2* , Mahwire 1-4, Munyaradzi 1-12

Looks as though the Rhinos batsmen are doing their best to get Mountaineers through to the final.
47-4 from 15 overs, Waller 3*, Wessels 9*, Taylor 12, Sibanda 10, Munyaradzi 2-28, Mahwire 1-13, S Ervine 1-6

Malcolm Waller gets his maiden first-class ton and saves Rhinos' blushes. 107 and still going.

Good job i didn't mention that i thought Waller should have been left out
He's had a pretty poor season to be fair, but he's chosen a good day to hit a career best and keep Rhinos in with a chance of a final place
Currently 262-9 from 76 overs, Waller 119*, Muzhange 3*, Mahwire 3-26, Munyaradzi 2-49, Matanga 2-62

All done now, Waller out for 124 and Rhinos 267 all out, just short of a 3rd batting point.

At close:
Mid West Rhinos 267
Southern Rocks 13/4
Really bad start for Rocks. Rhinos could win this one yet...
