Unbeaten century for Williams a timely return to form, also good contributions from the whole batting lineup .....

Cremer doing the damage with the ball .....

Just curious why are we playing all these associates who don't have ODI status when we could be playing ODI matches and gaining ranking points against Hong Kong, UAE and PNG?
I think you can only gain points against the other 11 teams on the ODI table.
Oh I see, still better playing ODI's imo ....

It would be expensive hosting or touring, no tangible reward for winning. Playing against UAE or HK is a waste of time. PNG though do have homegrown talent and have done very well in the limited chances they've gotten (they chased down a 300+ target in the 4th innings of their debut first class match vs the Netherlands away from home, IIRC). PNG could spring the odd surprise on Zimbabwe...

Touring the British Isles this year is of utmost importance as the WC qualifiers will be in those conditions. Qualification will be tough in a competition feature the West Indies and Afghanistan, but also Ireland and Scotland will be playing at home.

Yeah I know I'm just saying why are we playing associates without odi status when we could be playing those with it?

Its too early to say that Windies will feature in the qualifiers as still they have series against Afghans, England & Ireland before the cut off date 30th September, 2017

Hami trying to give us another selection headache. He always finds a way to make the team again. Kaia is pushing hard. I actually feel sorry for the Academy kids in a way.. playing against mediocre opponents and not really getting a chance to prove themselves whilst the Masakadzas get to blow Canada and Namibia away.

Father Christmas is back in town!!

Mind an inform masakadza would make my side at number 3 in Scotland/Netherlands

1 mire
2 chinbhaba
3masakadza
4 Williams
5 Ervine
6 moor
7 Waller ( last chance saloon)
8 cremer
9 chatara
10 ngarava
11 mpofu

Thinks that's a pretty good side

Struggling to see what Mire is bringing to the top of the order?

What's the point in him pinch hitting his way to 15 and being snicked off within 5 overs?

Raza fails again too. Seems the batting unit doesn't fancy clicking all at once.

I'd be shoehorning Burl in the full side.

1. Hammy
2. Chamu
3. Burl
4. Williams
5. Ervine
6. moor
7. Waller ( last chance saloon)
8. cremer
9. chatara
10. ngarava
11. mpofu
