What do you think are Peter Moor and Solomon Mire right choice as ODI openers ?
If not, who do you think should open the batting for Zim in ODIs ?
We've seen Moor scoring runs in the middle order in tests.
Mire has taken his List A average over 30. Do you want him to bat aggressively as opener or play normally as opener or do you think he can be the hitter at 6/7 for the death overs ?
Do you have any other opening combination in your mind ? Anybody fancy Sikandar Raza as opener or the experienced Hamilton Masakadza ? There's Justice Chibhabha as well.

Personally going by the Canada A games moor will drop down to about position 6 and chibhaba will open with Solomon

For me PJ is not an opener and even though he keeps putting his hand up to open I think it's actually harming his career right now from a confidence point of view. I think he should bat at 6 with Malcom Waller at 7 as the finisher based on current form.
The real problem we have is that our middle order is actually packed as we have Williams Burl Ervine Musakanda and Raza all trying to play there. It's also difficult to tell who is in better form between the senior guys and the guys in the U.K. Out of those guys I mentioned I would push Raza up the order to open if push comes to shove. For the first game in Scotland I would have Chamu and Mire opening with Raza at 3, Ervine at 4, Williams at 5,PJ at 6 and Malcolm Waller at 7. Masakadza Burl and Musakanda on the bench pushing for spots

I believe both Moor & Mire aren't openers. I will go with Masakadza & Raza as openers. Craig at 3, Williams at 4, Moor at 5, Burl/Waller at 6 & Mire at 7 (floater when big hitting is required).

Obviously, Mire isn't an opener than fills you with much confidence. I feel if Ervine and Masakadza are both in the team then Masakadza should clearly be opening with Chibhabha. Ervine coming can come at 3 the your Burl, Williams, Masukanda/Raza, Moor/Mire/Waller coming in down the order.

Hami-+ any of the alternatives

I've always said our Best opening combo in ODI's is Hami & Chamu .....
I'd have this as our lineup -
Hami
Chamu
Ervine
Burl / Musakanda
Williams
Mire
Moor
I'd have Raza as the backup at the moment to open or play in the middle ......
