[Match Thread] 1st ODIs: SCOT vs ZIM

Post by tawac »

The forecast says 60% chance of rain in the afternoon. Hope we get a complete game today. Teams look evenly matched but surely Zim would be the favorites here.

SF Mire, H Masakadza, CR Ervine, SC Williams, RP Burl, PJ Moor†, Sikandar Raza, MN Waller, AG Cremer*, TL Chatara, R Ngarava

Decent team...our middle bowling overs are going to be interesting in the local conditions.
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Scotland are a pretty decent side. They are in the top 3 of the World Cricket League and in contention for qualifying for the 13 team ODI league (if that is still on the cards).

Raza strires :W: maybe he has reinvented himself in to a bowling allrounder?
